I recently watched the video Dubstep Guns, and found myself strangely attracted to the music.
After looking around, I found out Klaypex did the music (You can check out their site and full album at http://www.klaypex.com/).
The dubstep in the original song actually flowed very well, and I almost didn't remove it. But it's just what I do, so I did anyway.
After listening to the De-Dubstepped version of the Hey Sexy Lady remix I did, I was quickly displeased by my work, so I redid it.
I think this version is quite better (Not much was really even changed)
I went and found a sweet Arion Remix of Party Rock Anthem, who is known for his Dubstep Remixes.
It ended up being a little shorter than I would have hoped for, but it worked out pretty well in the end.
On this small island in the vast ocean that is the internet, I am known as The Dubstep Destroyer.
I have created this blog with the purpose of sharing my hobby of 'De-Dubstepping' songs with others.
Before I continue on, I want to make several things clear
Dubstep is a form of music, and while I may dislike it, I respect that there are many others out there who do like it. I will not go around bashing Dubstep or it's fans, and I will never say that Dubstep, or any form of music, is bad.
ALSO, While I may call myself the 'Dubstep Destroyer', it is actually not my intention to destroy anything. It's just a catchy name. I only remove the heavy Dubstep parts of songs/remixes to provide people with an alternate version to listen to, just in case their musical preferences do not include Dubstep.
And another thing; I mean no disrespect to any of the artists whose songs I change. Nor am I claiming for my versions to be an original piece or remix. All of the music you hear was thought up and preformed by the artists who created the song originally, I did not have any part in making it. It would also be nice if you liked the song, to check out the original video/page for the song, and comment on how you like it there, because it's still 100% their work!
tl;dr: I'm not attacking Dubstep, I'm not destroying anything, The songs don't belong to me.
If you want to submit a song to be 'De-Dubstepped', please email me a link to the song at DubstepDestroyer[at]ymail[dot]com
And on that happy note, here are two of the songs I've already edited:
